http://www.fanfiction.net/ -A large, general collection of fanfiction stories...dunno if anybody's posted it yet but if so, here it is again! xD
http://www.fanfiction-directory.com/ -This on is like FanFiction.Net, though it seems a bit smaller :)
http://fanfiction.mugglenet.com/ -This is a site focused on Harry Potter fanfictions :)
http://www.lostfic.com/ -Another site focused on just one thing, this time...Lost! ;)
http://trekfanfiction.net/index.php -A StarTrek fanfic site (appropriate considering our current background I suppose xD )
http://www.lotrfanfiction.com/ -LOTR fanfics ;D
http://www.tolkienfanfiction.com/ -Some more fanfics based on Tolkien's books
http://www.ramblingsandthoughts.com/twilight/index.php -A Twilight fanfic site for anybody interested in the series
http://www.mediaminer.org/fanfic/ -This is an anime fanfic site...not sure if it focuses just on anime or if you can find some other genre's in there...well, I guess we'll figure it out eventually xD
http://www.narniafanfiction.com/ -A Chronicles of Narnia fanfic site :)
http://www.fanfiction.net/comic/Calvin_&_Hobbes/ This is an extension of a site which most of us will already be familiar with by now, but was still great to visit because it had various retellings of Calvin & Hobbes that include some nods to the original comic, but with slightly different and less intricately woven adventures.
http://www.ramblingsandthoughts.com This site used to contain a variety of different fanfic stories but since I last visited they seem to have been moved. Still, it's a great site to check out anyway because it features a page of fanfic tips and advice, and the classical music that plays when you arrive is pretty cool too.
ttp://thehostlibrary.com/thelibrary/index.php This particular site is mostly a page for novelist Stephenie Meyer to upload chapters of her book The Host for people to read in stages, a la Stephen King's Dark Tower series, or The Green Mile. The site advertises itself as being invite-only, but there's also a section where you can submit your own work.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/tag/fanfic/ This site is a shrine of options which can lead to different pieces, including information about certain stories aswell as the stories themselves. Not all of the stories are hugely fascinating but the notable variety is to be credited.
http://colonialvipers.halosfarm.com/index.php Bizarre site which focuses primarily on fans rewriting stories of Battlestar Galactica. Includes a forum and discussion board which does require a login to be accessed, but the effort is a treat for it's demographic and the construction of the site is certainly imaginative.
http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1493281/TravelingWater Contains submitted stories and links to other sites similair to it. Probably the most beneficial thing to take away from this page is the lessons you can learn from beginning your own blog debut.
http://www.ficwad.com/ Polished and well-structured site containing a considerable array of different story genres to choose from. Again, it requires an account and log-in step to become a member, but the amount of fanfic stories available for reading -- some up there in the 4000's -- are quite an eye-opener.
http://trekfanfiction.net/ Given the extent of fanatacism that Trekkies have displayed, this site is a must for anybody who loves the series/would be interested in seeing other people's ideas about it's storylines/would want to create their own. The site is remarkably developed and contains a great amount of people's work.
http://www.xenafan.com/fiction/ Xena-focused website with creative stories and poems from fans and a space available for more submitting. The site is nicely straightforward and easy to surf and best of all an account is not needed to submit a contribution of your own.
http://www.jonasbrothersfanfictionarchive.com/ Definitely for fans only given the subject it's centered around, but a detailed and glossy page with thousands of stories, members and reviewers. Worth checking out to see it's range of different options alone, aswell as the work and how much effort has clearly been laboured into the site.

hey ladies I need some advices...I was thinking about writing a cartooon cross-over, mainly with popular character from Disney and try to make something fun, what do you think?
hmmm, i was thinking, old and new one's like i dont know,,,snow white, lion king, pocahontas, ice age, aladdin, beauty and the best, nemo,Monsters and Cie and lots of other stuff!!
Like mixing a character from Aladdin with a character from Monsters, Inc.? Ooh, interesting.
I'd just like to warn everybody that my taste in stories is pretty unorthodox. I tend to like anything that's edgy or gritty or surreal and my stories turn out accordingly. I was thinking of taking a legendary BBC comedic character like Father Ted and putting him in a courtroom drama or something equally left of centre. But I don't wanna offend anyone so if you have an issue with grittiness or surrealism then let me know now.
Gritty means hard-hitting and dramatic. Basically the opposite of happy and bubbly like a fairytale. Seen the movie Million Dollar Baby? That's gritty. I have a soft spot for stories like that. How does that sit with you all?
Thanks. Mine's just an idea at the moment aswell, it might change the more I think about it. But it's at the top of the list. I rarely write about anything soft and gooey. Not that I have anything against those kind of stories, they're just not my bag. But I do like your idea CrepeNutella...
hello people!last time I said that I'd work on cartoon but I've changed my mind and now I'm actually working on a story in which my main characters are Freddy Krueger,Jason and another one, but I didn't have the time to introduce her yet. I've just started to write and there still a lot of work to do but anyway, check it out and leave some comments please!!
